The Problem
Located on the 4th floor of a luxury apartment building, the owner at this sought after address required air-conditioning to provide cooling and heating throughout the property. When CCP HVAC began the project, there was no planning permission granted and there were no areas on the site for external condensers.
The Solution
After initial discussions with the client to fully understand the project, CCP HVAC undertook an acoustic and structural survey, as drawings were prepared for the roof area. A full and detailed submission was sent to Westminster Council to ensure that permission was granted to position and install the external condenser on the roof. To comply wholly with planning requirements acoustic housing was designed and built in sections on the roof to accommodate the condenser. The condensers were put in place for the apartment and space was allowed for six additional external condensers for residents in the other apartments. This future-proofing ensured that other apartments would be able to enjoy the benefits of a CCP HVAC air-conditioning unit should they want.
CCP HVAC designed and installed the air conditioning system working closely with the builder, designer and other trades to ensure that the indoor units were as unobtrusive as possible. Careful consideration was also made to guarantee that the grills were ascetically pleasing, but with no compromise to the systems performance. The system was designed so that the apartments AV control was connected allowing for easy and intuitive operation of the air-conditioning system.
Follow up
The apartment now has an easy to use and fully controlled temperature system, allowing for comfortable cooling and heating throughout the year. Thanks to the intelligent design and future-proofing for additional external condensers, CCP HVAC are now talking with other tenants in the apartment building with a view to providing cooling and heating for their apartments.

Learie Attzs FCIPS, Chief Operating Officer at Folde Design Ltd. Says,
I have worked closely with CCP HVAC since 2012, on a very complex and sensitive project at one of the most exclusive residential addresses in London. My client bought a property that came with planning permission including the design and implementation of air conditioning. Barry Fisk at CCP HVAC had worked with the previous owner of the property and the architect that came up with the scheme. We decided to carry on with CCP HVAC and give them the opportunity to work on this project. I met Barry Fisk and found him to be a very personable individual, and we established a personal connection or rapport. He understood what I was trying to achieve. From a leadership point of view, Barry represents the organisation very well. He exudes customer service as I like to see it. I want him to be my supplier of choice, because CCP HVAC want to be the best they can be. I like how he operates.
